Marvin Sapp’s Wife Malinda Sapp Loses Her Battle With Cancer

mSep 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS)Praise Houston radio station announced yesterday that Malinda Sapp, the wife of veteran gospel singer Marvin Sapp passed away after losing her battle with colon cancer. The couple had been married for fifteen years and Malinda Sapp is survived by her husband and her three children Marvin II, Mikaila, and Madisson. However, the family of the Gospel singer has not released any official statement to the media.

A reputed media source reported that Malinda Sapp had been diagnosed with cancer in 2009. She was given clean bill of health by the doctors but then the cancer returned again in the beginning of the year. The “Best In Me” singer and his church Light House Full Life Center Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan had launched a 24 hour prayer for his wife’s complete healing. The radio station in their announcement offered their deepest sympathy to the Gospel singer’s family. The sudden death of Malinda Sapp has brought in a wave of sorrow to her family and friends. The member of “Commissioned” group had been by the side of his wife during this terrible loss. The singer reportedly canceled all his tours and recordings just to be there for his wife.

The homepage of Marvin’s Sapp’s social networking site was flooded with comments and condolences after Malinda Sapp’s death news was confirmed by the radio station. The wife of the “Never Would Have Made It” singer was a psychologist, professional counselor and served as a college professor. She was also the manager of Marvin Sapp and was the executive producer of many of his songs and video recordings. Malinda Sapp and Marvin Sapp established Lighthouse Church in Battle Creek in 2006.
