Martin Lawrence And Shamicka Gibbs Exchange Vows

July 12, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Saturday, July 10, 2010 witnessed Martin Lawrence and Shamicka Gibbs’ marriage ceremony attended by their close family members and friends at the backyard of Martin Lawrence’s Beverly Hills home. Martin Lawrence after his divorce from ex-wife Patricia Southall started dating Shamicka Gibbs and the couple finally tied the knot at their auspicious wedding. The private marriage was attended by 120 guests who were happy as they witnessed the magnificent wedding of the couple.
The couple looked happy and excited about their marriage as they exchanged their vows. The bride looked ravishing in her wedding dress and the couple looked comfortable in each others’ company. The lavish wedding reception was held under a tent and it was catered by Tres LA. The splendid wedding decoration was done by event manager Diann Valentine who took care of every single detail of the decor. It was a private party where the couple avoided paparazzi glares and hence media was not allowed. A close family member of the couple informed a reputed media source that the couple wanted their wedding to be an “intimate” celebration, as a result the wedding was all about family and close friends.
The guests included Martin Lawrence’s close friend and co-actor Eddie Murphy and Denzel Washington. The show stopper of the marriage were the three pretty young girls Amara, 9, Iyana, 9 and Jasmine, 14 who looked beautiful as the flower girls. The couple wedded in a Christian style and they arranged for lip smacking four course dinner for their guests which included salad, crab cakes and salmon. The four tier wedding cake from Rosebud Cakes in Beverly Hills was one of the attractions of the party.
