“Marry Me”, Lucy Liu’s Television Movie Gets Good Reviews

Dec 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The much awaited Lifetime’s television movie, “Marry Me” concluded yesterday. The first part of the movie was aired on December 12, while the second part was aired on December 13, at 9:00 PM-11:00 PM ET. It is a romantic comedy, that revolved around the life of a young girl, Rae Ann Carter, portrayed by Lucy Liu.
The story revolves around Rae Ann Carter (Lucy Liu) who is just like any other girl, who wants to get settled in life with the perfect prince charming. She is a social worker, who aims to become an artist. However, at the same time, she also wants to get settled in life. However, as the story continues, as she receives three marriage proposals from three eligible men, her ex-boyfriend Adam (Bobby Cannavale), who suddenly come back to her life, Luke (Steven Pasquale), the new man in her life and Harry (Enrique Murciano), the rich man who owns a huge property. She was initially very happy with the sole presence of Luke, however, things started getting more complicated as Adam comes back, with the expectation of giving their relationship another shot. With the addition of Harry, she got confused over her choice between emotional wellbeing and financial security. Till the end, one cannot predict whom she chooses as her perfect husband and make way to her dream wedding.
Although the film has a very ordinary story line, it is completely unpredictable. The twist and turns in the movie comes with an aura of delight and satisfaction. The film has been directed by James Hayman and produced by Sony Pictures. Barbara Hall, the five time Emmy Award nominee, wrote the teleplay, with Susanne Daniels as its executive producer.
