Aditi Shirwaikar who is currently hosting Star Vivah on Star Plus has been taken by a surprise. The actress turned host has been receiving few marriage proposals in the recent times on the show.

“Yes I have been receiving few offers for marriages in the show. Its bit shocking but I am taking it in a positive manner that parents look up to me as would be daughter in law,” says Aditi.

Elaborating on the incidents, she verbalises “There was a guy from Calcutta who had come on the sets with his father for the shoot. While chatting with him and his parents, suddenly the guy’s dad asked me of whether I have a sister with whom his son can marry. He was already aware that I am seeing someone so he asked me in such a manner.”

There were 4-5 more proposals for the actress. “Back stage the mommies of the contestants use to ask me the same. I was obliged as for me it was related to the show and with such reaction its known fact that my show is doing good,” she chirps.

“The people look upto me as would be daughter in law and to Monish as an elder brother. It’s very impromptu from their side,” she concludes.

Aditi is all set to tie the knot with her boyfriend Mohit Mallik in early next year. We wish her luck.
