Mark Ruffalo to Play as ‘The Hulk’ in ‘The Avengers’

avengers_6601 July 26 (THAINDIAN NEWS) In a recent article from ‘Zap2It.com’ it was revealed that Mark Ruffalo will be playing the part of Bruce Banner, aka, The Hulk, in the upcoming film entitled, ‘The Avengers’, which will also star Jeremy Renner in the part of Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye.

Joss Whedon has been named as the director of the movie, and he spoke to an audience at the recent Comic Con, “I have had this dream all my life and it was not this good. I want to thank Kevin so much for assembling my dream team. This cast is more than I could have never dreamed of working with. I am going to blow it. I am not up to it. I need your love and your support.”

The news was shared at the Marvel Studio’s session, in which clips were played in the presence of cast and crew members for the upcoming movies, “Thor”, and “Captain America:The First Avenger” for the audience. Thor will be due out in May of 2011, and Captain America:First Avenger is set to be released in July of 2011. “The Avengers” will bring in characters from both of the previous movies, along with a few new ones, and is sue for release in May of 2012.

Mark Ruffalo is an actor from the United States who was nominated for a Tony Award in 2006, for Best Featured Actor in a Play, due to his work in ‘Clifford Odet’s Awake and Sing!’. He is also a director, screenwriter, and producer. He has also played such parts as Investigator David Toschi in the 2007 movie ‘Zodiac’, and US Marshal Chuck Aule in ‘Shutter Island’.
