June 5, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): Mark-Paul Gosselaar is the American actor of Dutch lineage, who is predominantly recognized for his characters such as Zack Morris on NBC’s Saved by the Bell and detective John Clark on NYPD Blue. In a rather unpleasant piece of news, it has now been divulged that his seemingly stable matrimonial relationship with his wife, Lisa Ann Russell, has ended. It has lasted for approximately 14 years and they were even blessed with two kids. Nonetheless, despite the longevity of their marital alliance, the two have resolved that the time to terminate their relationship has arrived. The agent of Mark has, however, mentioned that the two, notwithstanding the end of their marital relationship, will remain dedicated to the betterment and welfare of their kids.

No definitive reason has been supplied so far for the closure of their matrimony. A source attached to the two has repudiated internet tittle-tattle that Russell’s demeanor was culpable for the rupture of their marriage. The source has asserted that the tittle-tattle about Russell incessantly and wildly partying are absolutely incorrect.

The source then declared that Russell has been an awesome mother and has performed the duties of motherhood perfectly. The two of them have taken care of their kids in a wonderfully practical manner and their kids remain uppermost in their catalog of priorities.

The 36-year-old Gosselaar and 38-year-old Russell had walked down the aisle in 1996 after bumping into each other while on the set of ‘Saved By The Bell’. Russell had to enact an insignificant character in the show then.

Gosselaar will now be witnessed in TNT’s fresh legal series, ‘Franklin & Bash.’
