London, April 11 (IANS) “Take That” singer Mark Owen has reportedly bought his wife a dream house worth 2 million pounds (about $3 million) in a bid to save his marriage.
Owen’s marriage is going through a rough patch after he admitted to a string of affairs and a long battle with alcohol during their five-year relationship, reports dailymail.co.uk. According to friends, the singer has begged for forgiveness from wife Emma and promised that he will be faithful to her from now on.

Emma has apparently decided to give her marriage a second chance. The couple have spent 1.8 million pounds on the attractive semi-detached house in South London.

The property boasts an impressive cellar running its entire length but Emma has insisted that the space will be used for a state-of-the-art gym, not for storing wine.

“They are both really excited about moving into the new house,” the website quoted a source as saying.

“They are seeing it as a new start. There was a time when they thought the marriage was over but they have agreed to give it another chance. Mark has promised to do everything he can to make things work.”

“Emma has longed to move for a while and she fell in love with this property. It’s in a really nice part of London and has great potential. They have just got planning permission and are going to have their dream house,” the source added.
