Los Angeles, Sep 18, (THAINDIAN NEWS) There is no denying the fact that the size zero trend is ultimately fading out with more and more actresses revealing their love for gorgeous curves. The latest person to mention her love for curves is Mariska Hargitay. The daughter of late actor and professional bodybuilder Mickey Hargitay wears size 8 and is proud about the fact. Mariska Hargitay, who plays the role of a tough and tender police officer in “Law & Order: SVU” and is seen putting sex offenders behind bars, said to media sources that she is “proud” to be size 8 and is in no mood to reduce it.

Mariska Hargitay who stands tall at 5′8″ has said to a media source earlier this year that she thinks herself to be a “very attractive person”, but would rather restrain from putting herself in the realm of “beauty”. She added that she does not get her esteem from whether she is included in the list of Hollywood beauties or not but from the fact that she is healthy. The actress also mentioned that she is proud to be size 8 as according to her that is healthy. “I’ve never felt compelled to be a skinny actress” added Mariska Hargitay.

There is no denying the fact that Mariska Hargitay looks quite healthy and normal at size 8 unlike many other Hollywood celebrity and actresses who still prefer to cringe to their size zero label. The bold and beautiful Mariska Hargitay on her part holds that being labeled as a sex symbol is not her thing, “it’s not where I [she] shine”.
