Marisa Tomei ‘thrilled’ with Lady Gaga’s request
March 22nd, 2011 - 12:45 am ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Mar 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Lady Gaga’s recent comments on Sirius XM’s Morning Mashup have got Marisa Tomei interested. The 46-year-old said she was thrilled that Lady Gaga would love her to play Gaga.
During the interview Lady Gaga said that, “I would have Marisa Tomei play me. I am such a Marisa Tomei fan. All my friends call me Marisa when I get angry, because my New York accent just flies out of my body and I start smacking my gum.”
The love and respect between Gaga and Tomei seems mutual. Tomei appeared on “The View” show recently, she indicated that she also loves and respects Lady Gaga for what she does. She said she was thrilled by the request put forward by Gaga. Tomei described Gaga as a ‘smart businesswoman’ after saying she love her music.
Lady Gaga is hugely successful with her music. Her latest album is due to be released on the 23rd of May. Prior to that date, her released single “Born This Way” has climbed to the top of the charts worldwide. Tomei is a veteran and she won an Academy Award back in 1993 for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the movie “My Cousin Vinny”.
