Marilyn Monroe’s Home For Sale

cr-2July 14, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Spanish colonial revival house where iconic sex siren Marilyn Monroe died of a sleeping overdose in 1962 is now for sale for $3.6 million. A reputed real estate agency announced the news yesterday and since then people are gazing at the house and collecting all the necessary information regarding the rambling four bedroom, three bathroom house on an exotic location and made with precision. The house is famous for its decorations, location and obviously its celebrity tag.

The house of Marilyn Monroe is located on 5th Helena Drive and it has special layers of thick walls, casement windows, polished concrete and terra cotta tile floors, original wood beamed ceilings and period hardware and tiles. The house of the hot actress was built in 1929 with a lovely kidney shaped swimming pool and 23,000 square feet of tree-filled grounds, as a reputed web portal informed. The web portal also added while describing the house that the crown jewel and largest property in all the Helena as “affording lovely vistas” and great privacy and seclusion yet in close proximity to San Vicente shops and restaurants and the Sunday Farmer’s Market.

“How To Marry A Millionaire” actress lived in that house for six months before dying of drug overdose and the diva bought the house for about $90,000 in 1929 and it was partially furnished at that time. The house is located on a private place behind the tall gates on a cul de sac. The Marilyn Monroe fans are now excited to know who buys the home at last and lives in their favorite actress’ home.
