Los Angeles, Mar 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Musical artist Marie Osmund and her family are still to recover from the shock of the untimely demise of the singer’s 18 year old son on Friday. Preliminary investigations have revealed that Michael Blosil took his own life by jumping off from the 8th floor of his apartment building late last week.

The coroner’s office stated on Monday that in order to shed more light into the reasons that might have led to the death of the teenager, toxicology tests would be conducted. This would be done to determine whether Michael Blosil was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he took the extreme step. At the same time, police official Lt. Paul Vernon has divulged that the much acclaimed entertainer’s son had left a suicide note before he jumped from his apartment although he added that details of the note were not available at the moment. It has also been stated that an autopsy was carried out on Sunday but it failed to determine the cause of the death. Los Angeles County Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter has implied that as the autopsy could not ascertain the cause of the unfortunate death of the teenager, the toxicology reports are expected to reveal the details although the results could take up to two months.

Meanwhile, Marie Osmond released a statement in which the singer expressed that her family was devastated and was in a state of deep shock following the death of Michael Blosil. At the same time, the singer also urged the media to respect the family’s privacy at this moment of distress.
