Mariah Carey’s hospital visit turns out to be a false alarm
March 28th, 2011 - 8:13 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLos Angeles, Mar 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mariah Carey was somehow disappointed on her birthday when her labor pains turned out to be false alarm.
Carey is pregnant with twins and the babies are not expected until next month. However on Saturday night during her birthday party, Carey felt some contractions and at a moment believed that it might be labor pains. Her hopes were dashed at the hospital when the doctors told her that it was not labor pains.
Carey took to Twitter to let her fans know what had happened at the hospital. She said that, “So #dembabies really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital. Finally they said I could come home after they got it under control. but hey almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!!”
Carey’s husband, Nick Cannon, announced last week that he was taking some fatherhood lessons on his radio show. The false alarm would undoubtedly be a very good rehearsal for Cannon. He also took to Twitter and admitted that he might not be able to stand the pains his wife would be going through in the delivery room. He said that he might “faint in the delivery room” on the day Carey would give birth.
