Mariah Carey’s American Idol promotional photo released

Los Angeles, July 27 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mariah Carey, one of the most renowned R&B musicians was recently confirmed as one of the judges for the reality TV show American Idol. This is going to earn her 18 million dollars per year.
Fox decided to come out with a promotional picture for the American Idol show and Mariah had to undertake a photo shoot. Mariah wore a figure hugging dress that brought out her figure. She however did not look very happy and this leaves people wondering whether she is really happy with the new gig as an American idol judge or not.
During her career, Mariah has been able to sell over 200 million records and she is the artist with the most singles on number one charts in the world. This does not however stop people from questioning her credentials for the position of a singing talent search show.
Mariah was confirmed as judge after Jennifer Lopez and Steven Tyler left the show. The mother of two looks really good in the promotional picture. She will be joining judge Randy Jackson and someone else who has not yet been found in the upcoming season of American Idol.
Mariah Carey is married to actor and musician Nick Cannon.
