Aug 24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) It seems that Mariah Carey aficionados have another reason to rejoice as the R&B singer and songwriter is working on her next Christmas album. The album is expected to release on November 2010. In a recent press conference, Island Def Jam executive Matt Voss announced that the Christmas album will include six new songs and a remix of her all time classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You”.

Mariah Carey’s first Christmas collection, titled “Merry Christmas” was released in 1994. It was one of the best selling Christmas albums of all times and it even topped the music chart for its wonderful composition and popularity. It has sold over five million copies in the United States. The media reports that the her new album’s production work will include “American Idol” judge Randy Jackson. A celebrity gossip website reported that the singer needs to get her career back on track and this seems to be the perfect chance for her. However, the fans of the singer are waiting in anticipation for the release of the album.

The singer expects that the new tunes of her up coming album will be perfect for the season. Mariah Carey performed in Brazil on August 21, 2010. Her performance, however,triggered rumor that the songstress is pregnant with her first child. The media reports that her visibly bigger and rounder stomach made everyone believe that the singer is pregnant. Neither Maria Carey nor her husband Nick Cannon has confirmed anything to the media. The media reports that The “Emotions” singer has also hogged lime recently when the rumor surfaced that she might be the judge of next “American Idol”.
