London, November 27 (ANI): Mariah Carey has plans to get rid of her assistants at some point of time in future to lead a simple life.

The singer said that she was once advised by a “very famous diva” to do her work on her own.

“A very famous diva once told me, ‘Mariah, one day you’re not going to want to have all these people around you,’” the Daily Star quoted her as telling TV chatshow This Morning.

She added: “She was taking her own bags off of the airport carousel and I really noticed that she was in control of her own life and doing things you don’t need to have all these people around you (to do) and it’s true.”

However, the ‘hero’ hitmaker refrained from revealing the name of the person who had advised her.

She said: “Who is she? I don’t want to say her name because maybe she wouldn’t be happy, but she’s someone I’ve admired my whole life.” (ANI)
