Mariah Carey to join ‘The X Factor’
April 19th, 2011 - 4:58 pm ICT by IANSLondon, April 19 (IANS) Singer Mariah Carey will be part of the US version of “The X Factor”, says music mogul Simon Cowell.
“I think Mariah will have a role on the TV live shows. I met her recently and she was in great form. And her idea was to be the judge of the judges, which only Mariah could come up with,” femalefirst.co.uk quoted Cowell as saying in a radio interview with Jackie Brown.
The 51-year-old has not cleared her role on the show yet.
“She’ll be involved in some form. I literally adore her. I love her to bits,” he said.
Carey, who is married to Nick Cannon, is in the family way and is due to give birth to twins.
