Mariah Carey to fight lawsuit filed by vet
June 26th, 2010 - 6:06 pm ICT by ANILondon, June 27 (ANI): Mariah Carey’s lawyer has dismissed claims that the singer owes almost 20,000 pounds in medical fees to a veterinarian who treated her pet pooches.
Veterinarian Cindy Bressler has sued the Hero hitmaker, accusing her of paying just 5,487 pounds of a 25,193-pound bill for providing ‘extraordinary services’ for her dogs.
However, Carey’s attorney, Orin Snyder, has insisted the singer will fight the lawsuit.
“This abusive lawsuit appears to be a crass publicity stunt.” the Daily Star quoted Snyder as saying.
” As a matter of principle, Mariah intends to fight this baseless case and is confident that it will be dismissed,” Snyder added. (ANI)
