New York, Jan 5 (ANI): Pop and R&B singer Mariah Carey has been paid one million dollars to sing at the New Year’’s Eve party of Libyan dictator Colonel Gaddafis son.

The host of the party, Saif, 36, is said to have spent the huge amount just to hear Carey, 38, sing three or four of her songs at the Nikki Beach Club on Caribbean island of St Barts.

But Careys representative has, on the other hand, denied knowledge of any payment being made to the singer.

Timbaland and Jay-Z also performed at the party, where Carey, 38, was seen putting pregnancy rumours to rest by drinking champagne and eating oysters with her hubby Nick Cannon.

I”ve never seen Jay and Beyonce having such a good time, the New York Daily News quoted a source as saying.

They were hugging and waving their arms. It was out of control, the source added. (ANI)
