Los Angeles, Mar 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Mariah Carey had her baby shower on Sunday at the Conservatory Grill at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills. She received several gifts during the ceremony.

Well though the gifts were numerous, the singer was much impressed with a particular gift. She updated her website on Monday saying that, “The Always Be My Babies ‘Lamb Book’ is definitely my new prized possession and I can’t thank the Lambs around the world enough for your letters & well wishes.”

Carey has a way of describing her dedicated fans. She calls them ‘Lambs’ and it’s for good reason because they follow the singer through thick and thin. The book has a very bright cover with blue and pink baby carriage and the picture of Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon, printed on the cover. The content of the book has poems and letters to the babies that Carey is expecting. Carey described the book as the ‘best’ gift that the family has relieved for their babies.

41-year-old Carey and her 31-year-old husband, Nick, are expecting their first children as a couple. The singer is reportedly expecting a boy and a girl. Nick and Carey have decided to keep most of the details of the babies to themselves.
