Oct. 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The name of Marge Simpson will henceforth be linked to a list of elite candidates who have graced the pages of the glamor magazine, “Playboy” as becomes the newest of the celebrities to join the high profile bandwagon of Playboy playmates. The November issue of the glamor magazine will see the lovable toon character from the immensely popular “Simpsons” occupy center stage. It is slated to hit the stands on Oct. 16.

This feat of Marge Simpson reportedly coincides with the 20th anniversary of the Simpsons which is set to fall in the month of November. In order to celebrate the festivities surrounding the occasion, this venture has been initiated. This appearance of Marge on the pages of the Playboy has earned her the credits for being the first animated personality to make it to the pages of the glam mag.

Playboy is leaving no stones unturned in an effort to dish out a completely pampered, star like treatment to Marge. Her cover page photo-shoot is not going to be a freak dalliance with the magazine. It comes thoroughly accompanied with an elaborate data sheet and features an interview too, followed by a two page centerfold.

According to Jimmy Jellinek, it was in the mid of July that Playboy had reportedly approached Matt Groening, who is the creator of “The Simpsons”, regarding the prospect of featuring Marge on the cover page of Playboy. Jellinek is supposed to have said, “They were totally on board with the idea. This is their 20th anniversary, and they’ve got an episode coming out called ‘The Devil Wears Nada’ where Marge will disrobe, so this sort of goes in hand with all that.”
