Marge Simpson The world knows Marge Simpson as a conservative woman that nags her husband Homer. But Marge revealed a new side to her persona when she engaged an attractive friend in a lingering lesbian kiss in front of Homer.

The blue-bouffant sporting Marge shocked her husband when she planted a full kiss on her friend’s mouth before husband Homer. It happened in the living room of her family house in Springfield.

Viewers have no reason to panic because Marge is not turning over a new leaf. It appears that the kiss was only imagined by her beer-guzzling husband. Homer was worried about the misfortunes that his family will face when his insurance expires but goes on to imagine his wife puckering up with another woman in the episode How The Test Was Won.

The Simpsons have brought in the topic of lesbianism now and then over the last few years. In 2005 Marge’s sister Patty was shown to be a closet lesbian who gets engaged to a female golfer Veronica. However it turned out that Veronica was a man who had cross-dressed to play the Ladies Professional Golfing Association games. Patty dumped him when she found out the truth.

Fox has announced that it will renew the show for two more seasons, and this makes The Simpsons be the longest-running prime-time series on television. Already in its 20th season, the series is tied with record-holder Gunsmoke but will pass the record next season when the total number of shows exceeds 493.
