cho“Dancing with the Stars” season 11 episode 3 saw the celebrity contestants perform their best sans David Hasselhoff and Michael Bolton. Audrina Patridge and her dance partner Tony Dovolani topped the leader board by scoring 26 points. This week the former “Hills” star managed to beat the “Dirty Dancing” starlet with two points. However, the American actress and comedian Margaret Cho could not impress the judges with her dance and hence scored only 18.

“Dancing with the Stars” judges, however, appreciated her effort as she paid tribute to the gay teens in her performance who have recently committed suicide. The 41 year old star wore a rainbow colored dress for her performance. The actress expressed her delight after the performance by saying that she is “excited” as she feels that her performance is the “gayest” thing that happened with her. However, she also said that there is a serious side to her performance as well. The comedian also added that she wanted to celebrate “pride” in her dance and she even added that it is a tough time for “gay” community. Margaret Cho expressed her sadness by saying that a lot of teenagers have committed suicide and now everyone wants to put an end to it.

However, Margaret Cho seems to have failed to impress the judges as she scored only 18 out of 30. Sarah Palin’s daughter Bristol Palin scored 19 and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino managed only 20 points. In one of her previous interviews Margaret Cho reportedly said that she needs more rehearsal to perform well but she does not have time to do so, owing to his busy schedule. The audience is now waiting to see “Dancing with the Stars” results to see who gets voted out of the show this week.
