Marcus Collins unveils his debut single

Los Angeles, Feb 16 (THAINDIAN NEWS) X Factor runner up Marcus Collins has come up with his debut single. He chose to come out with the remake of The White Stripes’ Seven Nation Army.

The move may be a risky one but with the way that the final product came out, Collins is on the way of establishing himself as one of the best talents to be produced by the X Factor.

When he was asked about the criticism of launching his career with a song by The White Stripes, Collins retorted back saying, “Why are they listening to me if they don’t like it? Listen to the original if you don’t like my singing. It’s just the X Factor connection but, you know, why are people kicking off about it now?”

A video of the single has been released. the singer could be seen dancing around the stage as series of female hands emerge from his back. The arms waves and moves around him from the back. At some time, the arms try to bully the singer in the video which has been rated favorable.

Ahead of the release of the single, Collins revealed that he spent the whole of January in the studio. Marcus was the runner up of the X Factor show.
