Mansi Parekh was last seen in Remote Control on 9X and after that the girl disappeared from screen. But now she is back with a bang on a new reality show India Rocks, as a host.
“It’s a unique reality show where you can see the battle between the bands. This is one point where singers and musicians come together on a nation level, and my role as a host will be like that of a mediator who is the bridge between contestants and judges,” says Mansi.
She has been a singer and was associated with a band. “I can closely relate to the show, because of being associated with a fusion band called “Akruti’ long back. This has brought back memories,” she adds further.
“Another factor for taking up the show is the production house (Encompass Events Pvt. Ltd) and Colors is a good channel. This show will be giving a platform to the new talents too, which again is quite exciting,” she quips.
Talking about her co-host she converse, “I and Karan have started our career together with the show Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. With India Rocks we are reuniting and he is a lovely person to work with.”
“Shaan and Vasundhara are great people and they make all of us very comfortable. They have a good technical sense on music and their comments will have a great impact on the contestants too,” concludes the actress.
Besides hosting, the actress has recently concluded the shoot of her Tamil film with Shiv Pandit. Also, Mansi is making her theater debut with an English play directed by Lilette Dubey.
