Los Angeles, Dec 19 (DPA) The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office has ruled that the death of actor Mark Ruffalo’s younger brother was a homicide. A witness claimed that he shot himself in the head while playing Russian roulette. The ruling came after one of the people arrested in connection with the incident claimed that 39-year-old hairdresser Scott M. Ruffalo shot himself in the head while playing Russian roulette.

Ruffalo was found with a gunshot wound at his apartment Dec 1 and died a week later at a hospital after being released from life support.

Beverly Hills police arrested Shaha Mishaal Adham, a 26-year-old Saudi woman, after the shooting but she has not been charged. Her lawyer claimed that Ruffalo had shot himself while playing Russian roulette.

Mark Ruffalo, 41, is the star of movies such as “You Can Count on Me”, “Zodiac”, and “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”. In the wake of his brother’s death he pulled out this week from the independent movie “Greenburg” and is set to be replaced by Ben Stiller.

Russian roulette is a potentially lethal game of chance in which participants place a single cartridge in a revolver, spin the cylinder, place the muzzle against their head and pull the trigger.
