Manomi novel to get a film
December 25th, 2009 - 1:33 am ICT by Sampurn WireManomi, Madhavikutty’s renowned novel, is being made into a movie. Titled Ramaravanan, the film stars Suresh Gopi and Mithra Kurian as the leads and will mark Biju Raveendran’s (Biju Vattappara) directorial debut.
Suresh Gopi will play a Srilankan Tamil, Thiruselvam and Mithra will play the title role, Manomi, a Sinhala girl who falls in love with Thiruselvam. The remaining cast includes Nedumudi Venu, Sudheesh, Biju Menon, Vijayakumar, Jagathy, Suraj, Baburaj and Krishna..
The music will be composed by Kaithaparam and Jibu Jacob is the cinematographer. The film has been produced by Thushar International and is being shot in Thenkasi and Srilanka.
