London, Apr 10 (ANI): The man who tried selling pictures of murdered Harry Potter star Robert Knox’s body has been jailed for 15 months.

Knox appeared as Hogwarts student Marcus Belby in ‘Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince’.

He was stabbed to death at the age of 18 after defending his brother in a fight outside a nightclub in Kent, England in 2008.

Following his death, Charaf Elmoudden attempted to sell nine pictures taken during Knox’s post-mortem examination to the British press.

This made journalists to report his sick actions to police.

Elmoudden was charged under the Obsene Publications Act last year (09), and earlier this week (begs05Apr10) was found guilty of handling stolen goods at London’s Wood Green Crown Court, reports The Daily Express.

The judge handed him a 15-month prison sentence.

However, it is still not known how the 20 year old acquired the photographs.

Knox’s killer, 22-year-old Karl Bishop, was sentenced to life in prison last March (09) for the crime. (ANI)
