Man, 53, charged with attempting to stalk Miley Cyrus

London, Aug 6 (ANI): A 53-year-old man, who claimed to be engaged to Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus, has been charged with attempting to stalk her.
The man, named Mark McLeod, tried to stalk Cyrus, who has been busy filming for the movie, The Last Song, in coastal Georgia since mid-June, it is reported.
The police arrested McLeod, after security officers of Walt Disney Pictures reported that he had come to the seaside film again in spite of a warning from the police.
Police said McLeod was arrested when he tried to break through the security around the film set.
The Daily Express quoted the Tybee Island Police Chief Jim Price as saying: “He was asking for Miley and going up and knocking on some doors” of beach homes near the set.
“The security guards recognized him. In fact, he went up to the security guards and asked them ‘Is Miley around?’”
In fact, police on Tybee Island say they have been looking for McLeod since he was arrested on June 22 for unruly behaviour and obstructing a police officer.
Cops said McLeod also said that he and Cyrus “were supposed to be together and we (Police) couldn’t stop it”. (ANI)
