Mammootty may play lead in film on ‘Kunjali Maraikar’

April 10, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Malayalam cinema seems to be getting interesting lately. Some of these big-budget films include the Mammootty starrer Karnan, which would bring him back with Gokulam Gopalan and Hariharan too.
Buzz has it that another big project is being planned. Kunjali Maraikar’s story will be depicted on screen by director Jayaraj. The film is expected to star Mammootty in the lead role.
Sources have it that the film will be scripted by T P Rajeevan, who also scripted Ranjith’s film, Palery Manickyam. However, an official announcement about this project is yet to be made.
