Malaria stricken Cheryl to miss ‘X Factor’ start
July 12th, 2010 - 2:27 pm ICT by ANILondon, July 12 (ANI): Cheryl Tweedy will miss the start of reality TV show ‘X Factor’ as she is suffering from malaria.
The Girls Aloud singer will not return to the ‘X Factor’ until live finals in October.
Cheryl will also not be performing at the V Festival in August and has postponed plans to finish her new album by Christmas.
The 27-year-old Brit singer picked up the killer disease during a holiday in Tanzania and she is being treated at a private clinic.
“She is still taking oxygen and is very frail. She is on a drip and sleeping a lot,” the Sun quoted a close friend as saying.
“She will not be able to take part in X Factor’s boot-camp stage or perform at V,” said Cheryl’s spokesman. (ANI)
