Ever since Main Aurr Mrs Khanna CDs have hit the stores, it’s been selling like hot cakes. A source said, “What makes Main Aur Mrs Khanna unique is its variety. It has songs of all kinds that touch the chord of your heart instantly. It has numbers of varied emotions- sadness, happiness, love and romance and funny number. What’s more there are a range of singers who have sung the songs like Sonu Nigam, Wajid, Suzaane D’Mello, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Bappi Lahiri, Shaan, Neuman Pinto. All this makes the Main Aurr Mrs Khanna numbers very unique.”
The theme song Don’t Say Alvida sung by Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghosal and Suzaane D’Mello is soon expected to hit the top of the charts. Interestingly the song has been inspired by Bappi Lahiri’s evergreen number Kabhi alvida na Kehna.
Plus there’s a happening item number picturised on Preity Zinta sung by Wajid, Sunidhia Chauhan, Uvie, Farhad and Raja Mushtaq. “There’s Bhangra-fusion number, there’s a funny song called Mrs Khanna and there’s a slow number called Rabba sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. There’s also a western track called Tum Ne Socha by Wajid and Shreya. It is these variations that has boosted the sales of Main Aurr Mrs Khanna,” said the source.
