Maggie Gyllenhaal talks about filming her movie ‘Hysteria’
September 23rd, 2011 - 7:42 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattLondon, Sept 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Filming of Maggie Gyllenhaal’s new movie titled Hysteria was fun just as it was interesting, the actress has revealed. The romantic comedy was shot at a location in London where Maggie reportedly gave the other cast sex toys. She was shocked at what she got back.
In the movie, Maggie is a daughter of a doctor. Her character is curious and gets involved in the work of his father. His father is trying to invent the vibrator.
In an interview, Maggie explained why she took the sex toys to the crew of the movie. She explained that the movie “is about vibrators and women’s orgasms. I don’t think people really do talk about it very much, and I do think it does still make us flushed and uncomfortable… I gave everybody - cast and crew - a little bullet vibrator when we started. It was expensive!”
The sex toy shops that Maggie bought the products reciprocated her generosity. According to her, before the shooting of the movie was completed, she had received about 15 sex toys from various people.
She admitted that when she received the gifts from the various stores, she was surprised by the gesture.
