Madonna’s ‘W.E’ to premier at London Film Festival

London, Sep 8 (IANS) Pop star Madonna’s directorial venture “W.E” will have its British premiere at the London Film Festival.
The film which stars Abbie Cornish, Oscar Isaac, Richard Coyle, James D’Arcy and Andrea Riseborough, is a tale about the relationship between US citizen Wallis Simpson, Britain’s King Edward VIII and modern day woman Wally Winthrop, reports contactmusic.com.
Other movies, which will receive a British premiere, includes “Shame”, starring Michael Fassbender, Roland Emmerich’s “Anonymous” and “The Ides of March” which will premiere Oct 19.
The London Film Festival will start Oct 12 and will go on till Oct 27
