Madonna’s Malawian daughter forgets native language

London, Oct 28 (IANS) Madonna’s adopted daughter Mercy James seems to have forgotten her native language in just four months.
According to thesun.co.uk, the 51-year-old adopted Mercy and David Banda from Malawi where Chichewa is the official language. While David remembers a little bit, Mercy has completely forgotten it, revealed Lucy Chipeta of the Mchinji orphanage where David lived till 2007.
Madonna had taken the kids to the orphanage recently and Chipeta said: “David had for-gotten us. He remembers a few words. Mercy is a real white girl. She couldn’t speak any.”
“I am happy to see David look so happy. Madonna’s a very good mother. Her children are well-behaved. I think she’s more Malawian than American,” she added.
