Oct 4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) This week’s ‘Saturday Night Live” certainly turned into an affair to remember when the Queen of Pop, Madonna suddenly turned up unannounced on the show and interrupted, whose else, but Lady Gaga’s performance. Well, before getting excited about the next biggest celebrity cat-fight, lets just state that it was a scripted act but one enormously enjoyable nonetheless.

The SNL skit included for the two divas to get engaged in a mock cat-fight while the two hit-makers were set in the Deep House Dish scenario. Though it was as hilarious as it could have been, it was nevertheless a treat to watch the two music divas locked in a “slapping and tugging” tug of war, albeit a mock one. The two music sensations were almost all over the set of the SNL and even over Kenan Thompson.

Amidst heated exchanges like Madonna asking Gaga, “What in the hell is a disco Stick?” and Gaga telling her off with, “I’m totally hotter than you” [Modonna got back with, "I'm totally taller than you."], the show was almost stolen off from the guest host for the night, Ryan Reynolds.

Peace was seemingly restored when Thompson suggested they “kiss and make up” and which they almost did, giving rise to the anticipating of another famous Madonna-Britney like episode. However, Thompson got in the way and offered the ladies his cheek instead.

Though other celebs like Reynold’s wife Scarlett Johannson and Elijah Wood also made their appearance at the SNL, it was undoubtedly the Queen of Pop, who stole most of the thunderous applause for the night [and of course Lady Gaga's performance].
