Madonna throws surprise b’day bash for daughter

London, Oct 17 (ANI): Queen of Pop Madonna celebrated her daughter Lourdes’ first birthday as a teenager by throwing a surprise party in New York.
Lourdes turned 13 on Wednesday (14Oct09) and her pop star mother marked the day gathering family and friends for a lavish bash in Manhattan, reports the Daily Express.
According to the New York Daily News, the ‘Material Girl’ hitmaker, along with Lourdes’ father Carlos Leon, booked out the Delicatessen restaurant in SoHo for the party.
During the bash, the singer presented her daughter with a red, velvet-look birthday cake. (ANI)
