London, Apr 6 (ANI): Queen of Pop Madonna pipped The Beatles and Robbie Williams to be named the most played artist of the last decade in the U.K.
Compiled by the music licensing body PPL, the list is based on the number of radio appearances and plays in public places such as shops, clubs and bars, amassed by musicians over the last 10 years, reports The Daily Express.
The Material Girl was followed by The Beatles and Robbie Williams in second and third places respectively.
Queen claimed fourth place, while boy band Take That were in fifth.
Other stars in the top 10 were Elton John, Elvis Presley and Abba. (ANI)
