New York, April 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Pop diva Madonna and her teen daughter Lourdes (whom she had from her trainer Carlos Leon) are fighting it on conservative dress wear. Well no matter how hard it is to believe, Madonna wants her daughter to dress in a more conservative way. Now that comes from a mother who has never followed those lines herself. Well, that’s exactly what people call irony and to add up to that both the mother and daughter have joined hands together to flaunt a back-to-school dress wear range which is named as “Material Girl.”

When asked about it Madonna says that it is her daughter Lourdes who is the one behind this venture. She told the media how her 13-year-old daughter is extremely influenced by the European culture and that she listens to a lot of European bands which has actually driven her to have come up with this idea of launching “Material Girl.” Madonna herself stays busy all the time with her recordings and performances and so she finds it hard to snatch some time off from her schedule. But Lourdes has plenty to devote for “Material Girl” which makes her mother happy in the way she does it.

There was a rumor about Madonna and Lourdes sharing the screen in “W.E” which happens to a directorial gig from Madonna that portrays the relation between King Edward VIII and Wallis Simpson. But both Madonna and her daughter have snubbed down any such rumor of appearing in the movie together. “Material Girl” happens to be a venture of in-house fashion collection from Iconix Brand Group. The fashion line is doting high on budget wear and will be selling out jewelery, handbags, footwear and fragrances which is scheduled to be launched at the Macy’s this August.
