Washington, Oct 17 (ANI): ‘Like A Virgin’ singer Madonna has revealed that she sits in an ice bath for 10 minutes after every concert to relieve her aches and pains on the road.
Madge, 51, who also undergoes acupuncture therapy for relief, admits that her age and the years of abuse she has put her body through has finally caught up with her.
She revealed to Rolling Stone magazine that the first few minutes in the ice bath is always painful, but “it feels so good afterwards”, and she also revealed that she now takes good care of herself before and after the shows.
“My ankles get taped before the shows, and I have treatments and physical therapists. It’s from years and years of abuse, dancing in high heels, which is not great on your knees,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.
“All dancers have injuries, but we just deal with them. We get acupuncture and therapy, and just keep going,” she added. (ANI)
