Madonna dismisses reports of new album name LicoriceDecember 8th, 2007 - 8:40 pm ICT by admin
Washington, Dec 8 (ANI): Pop diva Madonna has slammed rumours that her final Warner Bros studio albums title would be Licorice.
The singers broadcaster pal Larry Lick played two new tracks from her upcoming album, Candy Shop and The Beat Goes On, on his Sirius Satellite Radio show OutQ on Dec 6.
After that, Lick claimed that the name of the new album is Licorice and will be released in spring next year.
However, Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg dismissed the claims in an email.
“Sirius does not know what they are talking about. Wrong title. Release date wrong etc, Contactmusic quoted Rosenberg, as saying in the email.
Madge will part company with Warner Bros once the album is released and embark on a new initiative with concert promoter Live Nation.
The 10-year deal encompasses all of the singers future music and music-related businesses. (ANI)
