Madonna $92m poorer in divorce settlement with Guy Ritchie
December 16th, 2008 - 1:23 pm ICT by ANINew York, December 16 (ANI): Madonna and Guy Ritchie have settled for a divorce payout for up to 92 million dollars, according to her spokeswoman.
The warring couple had been granted a quickie divorce in November and have agreed to split the cash and assets as they end their eight-year marriage.
The Queen of Pop, reportedly worth reported 450 million dollars, has decided to let the Brit director have the couple’’s country estate Ashcombe House in Wiltshire, as well as their west London pub, the Punchbowl.
“It’’s one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement,” the New York Daily News quoted rep Liz Rosenberg as saying.
The warring couple are, however, yet to reach a decision regarding custodial arrangements for their kids though they have agreed to have joint custody of sons, Rocco, aged 8, and adopted David, aged 3.
Madonnas daughter Lourdes, aged 12, from a previous relationship, is to live with the singer who has decided to abandon her ex-hubbys native England to base herself in the United States.
A rep for Guy, estimated to have a 45 million dollar fortune before the deal, refused to comment on the reported deal. (ANI)
