Madhavan Makes A Comeback To Tamil Films With Kamal Haasan’s Manmadhan Ambu’

October 18, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): Well for the die hard fans of Madhavan, it has not been a satisfactory time, as the actor never showed up in the Tamil film industry. Last time, we saw him in the big screen was for the movie ‘Yaavarum Nalam’, which was one of biggest profit spinners in the 2009 box office.  Now, nearly after an year, the actor will make his comeback with Kamal Haasan’s ‘Manmadhan Ambu’.

Both Kamal Haasan and Madhavan shared a good rapport from the days of ‘Anbe Sivam’. Later Kamal Haasan directed Madhavan in a comedy entertainer titled ‘Nala Damayanthi’, which was later remade in Hindi by Ramji Londonwale. For the third time, Kamal Haasan and Maddy are coming together for this romantic comedy. The film is directed by K.S. Ravikumar and is produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies. Trisha and Sangeetha is playing the female lead roles with Kannada actor Ramesh Aravind portraying a prominent role.

Apart from this film, Madhavan has bagged an offer from Lingusamy. He plays a powerful role in his upcoming film ‘Vettai’ which featured Arya in lead role. It is worth mentioning Madhavan’s chocolate boy image got changed into an action hero with Lingusamy’s ‘Run’.

Madhavan says, ‘When Lingusamy narrated me the script, I was into the film and I was pretty sure that it will be a great milestone in my career.’
