New York, Oct 13 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Christina Hendricks married her actor fiancé Geoffrey Arend at Il Buco restaurant in New York on Sunday, according to PEOPLE magazine.

The redheaded Hendricks, 34, and actor Arend, 31, had gotten engaged earlier this year after they were introduced by her “Mad Men” co-star Vincent Kartheiser. They hit off instantly and are now a happily married couple.

Regarding the wedding ceremony, Hendricks had previously said, “We really wanted to be filled with our absolute best friends and our family.” She continued, “We didn’t want to spread ourselves too thin, and we really wanted it to have a warm environment, so we kept it with the tightest people.”

The bride was dressed in an exquisite Carolina Herrera ivory fils coupe gown, and the much in love couple exchanged platinum wedding bands made by Tacori. “The rings are simple and lovely, so much like Christina and Geoffrey,” says Tacori rep Michelle Chila. The groom Arend’s engraved ring matches his bride’s petite platinum ring with two rows of pave-set diamonds.

When they went shopping earlier this year to buy their wedding rings, then the moment they saw these two lovely platinum bands, they knew that they had a match. “They put the rings on the table,” Chila says, “and said, ‘Look, they talk to each other. They’re friends.’”

The bride, who plays the voluptuous Joan on her TV show said she loves “everything” about Arend. “He’s considerate, he’s thoughtful, he’s smart, he takes care of me,” she said in July. “He’s very, very giving.”
