July 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Actor Rich Sommer, who is best known for playing the role of advertising ace Harry Crane in the show, is all set to welcome a new member in his family. The much acclaimed actor has recently revealed that his wife Virginia is pregnant with their second child. The bright new chapter in the personal life of the “Mad Men” star gives him a new reason to rejoice as the popular dramatic television series featuring him commenced its fourth season journey on AMC last night.

While talking about the new member who is going to join his family soon, Rich Sommer divulged that it is a baby boy and its due date is sometime around the end of summer. The actor who already has a two-year-old daughter with wife Virginia exclaimed that they are immensely excited about the fact that their daughter Beatrice is now going to have a baby brother. Rich Sommer further expressed hope that he is keeping his fingers crossed so that he can be his wife’s side during the delivery and gets to spend some time with the new born before he has to rush back to work.

In the Matthew Weiner created AMC dramatic television series “Mad Men,” Rich Sommer edges that supporting character of Henry Crane who is basically a media buyer who gradually takes up the role of the head of a television department in a Madison Avenue ad agency. Since the AMC show made its debut in the network on July 19, 2007, it has managed to win the hearts of the viewers. The fourth season of the series premiered on Sunday night.
