jon1July 26, (THAINDIAN NEWS) All the fans of the much acclaimed actor Jon Hamm are in for a huge treat as the “Mad Men” star is all set to make a cameo in an upcoming episode of the highly popular Fox animated series “The Simpsons.” It has been reported that the 39-year-old actor has recently shot an segment of the hit series which is scheduled to go on air later in the month of December this year. Since it has come to light that Jon Hamm is going to lend his voice to a character who is an FBI agent, all his fans can’t wait to catch “The Simpsons” episode.

Al Jean who is the executive producer of the Fox animated series, had only words of praise for the “Mad Men” star in a recent interview to a leading news source. The executive producer described Jon Hamm as a highly versatile actor who has the capability for doing a variety of things with just one note. However, if that leaves you wondering that the upcoming episode of the series might have references to the AMC dramatic television series then that is surely not going to be the case as Al Jean has confirmed that there is going to be no mention of “Mad Men” in the yet-to-be aired series.

While divulging intrinsic details of the upcoming episode of ‘The Simpsons” which would feature Jon Hamm, Al Jean went on to say that the “Mad Men” star would make an appearance in a mafia-themed episode and would play the role of a FBI agent to whom Homer Simpson would be reporting after he infiltrates a local gangster’s crew.
