London, Dec 7 (ANI): Paul McCartney is set to hit his smallest gigs in a decade just before Christmas in London and Liverpool.
Macca could easily sell out a few arena dates but is keeping things intimate at London’s Hammersmith Apollo on December 18 and a homecoming gig at Liverpool O2 Academy on December 20.
“Christmas is the perfect excuse for everyone to let their hair down and rock out. We are looking forward to celebrating with the people of London and Liverpool,” the Sun quoted him as saying.
Earlier this year the ex-Beatle played for Barack Obama in the White House - but he can expect a rowdier reception from a few thousand Scousers out on a tear-up. (ANI)
