Macca dreaded compiling greatest hits albumNovember 21st, 2007 - 4:07 pm ICT by admin
London, Nov 21 (ANI): Sir Paul McCartney feared that he had not recorded enough good songs to justify the compilation of his greatest hits album.
The 65-year-old singer is releasing a new triple DVD collection of his best-known songs entitled The McCartney Years, which he confessed that at the beginning he dreaded.
I thought, Oh, no God, theres not enough good stuff yet, the Daily Express quoted him, as saying.
However, the Coming Up hitmaker insisted that he was pleasantly surprised when he re-visited some of his past efforts.
But looking at it, I think some of the stuff I was a bit scared of, I dont need to be scared of, he said.
Especially as its all been re-polished and buffed up. They seem to stand up quite well, he added. (ANI)
