Maanja Velu to hit screens on May 7

April 22, 2010 (Sampurn Wire): With their previous film “Malai Malai’ turning to be an above-average grosser at box office, director A. Venkatesh and actor Arun Vijay has come together again with “Maanja Velu’. The film is produced by Arun Vijay’s father-in-law Mohan under the banner of Feather Touch Entertainment.
“Peranmai’ fame Dhansika stars opposite Arun Vijay in female lead while yesteryear superstar Karthik makes his comeback in a prominent role with this flick. The film also features Prabhu, Ganja Karuppu, Riyaz Khan and others in vital characterizations. After making high waves with his recent album Vijay’s “Sura’, music director Mani Sharma has tuned melodies for this film.
The film is slated to hit screens on May 7 along with Chimbu Devan’s “Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’. With the stunning teasers recently aired on all media channels have already raised everyone’s expectations.
