For all those who fell in love with the super-heroin of the 70s for her smoking hot looks and ability to deflect bullets with the shiny bangles, there is also a surprising talent in Lynda Carter. Amazingly as the world saw the 20 year old gorgeous crime fighter acting her way to glory, she kept her singing talents hidden and still passionately pursued the art.

At 59, Lynda Carter is due to release her latest elegant cover album which is the third of her career. She revealed in a recent interview that getting a chance to sing again recently was like a an old flame being lit again. Though very passionate about singing, Lynda Carter, said she left singing in her younger days as she did not want her family on the road. In the interview Lynda Carter also spoke about her life back in the days of Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman saw the then struggling actress from Phoenix transform into a worldwide sensation. Standing at 5′ 9.5″ most people looked at the gorgeous super-heroine with either lust or envy.

Lynda Carter explained that though she was a global phenomenon in her early 20s, she was not really aware of the fame and the glamor till she came out of the studio and saw the fanfare. Recently Lynda Carter was also in the news when she talked about her emotions while aging. She said that in her twenties she took her body for granted and it was much later that she realized that such a figure could be enjoyed once in a lifetime.
