Mumbai, Dec 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Amidst much fanfare and drama, Rumpa Roy was crowned as the very first Lux Perfect Bride. She is all set to tie the knot with her beau on the show, Hitesh. The top two finalists in the Lux Perfect Bride were Priyanka and Rumpa. Priyanka is madly in love with Rajbeer and they make a handsome couple too, on the show. The grand finale of the show was marked by many sizzling performances by the dancing divas like Malaika Arora Khan and Rakhi Sawant.

The day before, the mehndi ceremony was also held and both the finalists of the show had a nice time, when they were adorned with pretty mehndi. The names of their grooms were also written on their hands. All the other contestants of the show performed a dance number to entertain the finalists and to share in their joy too.

Priyanka looked electrifying in a pretty pink outfit whereas Rumpa was dressed in red bridal finery. The love story between Priyanka and Rajbeer started many moons ago, and the much-in-love couple had the blessings of Rajbeer’s mother also. Rajbeer’s mother is a very simple lady and she was liked a lot by all, and was crowned the ‘Lux Mother of the Week’ many times. And Priyanka who was very much in love with Rajbeer was also crowned the ‘Lux Perfect Bride’ perhaps the most number of times in the whole show.

However the magic pairing of Priyanka and Rajbeer got into trouble, as Rajbeer’s father was against the alliance. Rajbeer was also taken out of the show but was brought back as a wild-card contestant too, to add some drama to the finale.

Whereas Hitesh was in love with another contestant Pooja. Pooja also tried her best to give their relationship a good shot, but it didn’t work out. So ultimately Hitesh dominating mother wanted a reality show wedding at all costs, so she started hooking up her son with the next best girl in her eyes and that consolation prize winning girl was none other than Rumpa.

The pretty and the effervescent Rumpa got engaged to her beau Hitesh at the end of the show, whereas the lovebirds of the show Priyanka-Rajbeer still have some hurdles to cross and family members to convince, if they want to get married to each other in the future.
